We have been busy trying to find a way to keep going as an organization in our present home. The time has come after much thought and delay to vote on closing our building, auction off equipment and our jeep and look for a new home or somewhere where we can meet in the future. Our present home is too large and was built about 70 years ago for the big crowds that it attracted in those days. It costs too much to maintain it and our monthly power bill, insurance, gas bill, security system and cleaning & maintenance etc. is all beyond our present income. Our dedicated staff has went out of their way to help us in this regard. They have volunteered their time and talent and many times their own money knowing that we didn't have the money to pay them. It can't continue like this. We want to keep our Charter, our Legion booth at the Sandwich Fair and most importantly our Honor Guard! Please know that this has been a very hard decision for us but there is nothing else that we can presenty do.
